Amended Day – Wednesday 24/6/26
Dear Parents/Carers
With temperatures expected to rise significantly from midday today, we have adjusted our school day.
Following our risk assessment, students will finish early with most students being dismissed by 1:15pm while Year 10 complete their History paper. Following the examination, students will have lunch and then leave site approximately 2:00pm.
Whilst these arrangements are being introduced to protect the health and wellbeing of our community, our Culture Reset expectations remain unchanged. High standards, routines and consistency are particularly important during periods when students may feel uncomfortable or unsettled.
We will continue to:
- Reinforce punctuality and line-up expectations.
- Maintain uniform expectations, whilst allowing students to remove blazers when directed.
- Ensure students have access to water and encourage regular hydration.
Students should continue to follow all expectations regarding behaviour, mobile phones, movement around the building and respectful conduct. Calm, consistent routines will help ensure that the final weeks of term remain purposeful and successful.
Please check your email as a letter will be sent out at the end of the day.
Please see the link below for a letter communicated earlier this week regarding potential expected changes due to the weather.
