Celebrating Success!

We’ve had a great week this week celebrating success at Duke’s. Our Heads of Year have run their half termly celebration assemblies and we’ve had our now infamous ‘pizza parties’ for the tutor groups with the highest numbers of positive points. 

It’s been great to see so many students celebrating their own success as well as that of others. A really positive week!

Viddal Riley Visit

This week also saw an inspirational visit from ex student Viddal Riley, a professional boxer, rapper and internet personality. He came into Duke’s to deliver an inspirational speech to our students as well as reflecting on his times at the school. It really was a fantastic visit – thank you to Ms Bailey who organised it. 

Spurs Success!

We can’t end our weekly news round up without acknowledging the historic Spurs victory on Wednesday 21st May. Tottenham Hotspurs beat Manchester United to lift the Europa League trophy in Bilbao, spain. It is the club’s first major win for 17 years. Being closest neighbours with Spurs has meant our students have been witness to sporting history being made!
