Media & Business Careers Talk 

This week our GCSE Business Studies and Media students were treated to a fantastic careers based talk from Dan Miller from The Apprentice. The trip was organised by Ms Scoggins, head of Media and was aimed at students understanding creative and media careers and the world of entrepreneurialism. The students were able to ask questions and gain insight into the wider world. What a fantastic event for all. 

LAET Ex Students 

This week we were also delighted to welcome back to Duke’s four ex students to deliver an inspiring and exciting assembly to our year 11 students. The students were able to articulate the huge importance of preparation for exams and also talked to our year 11s about life beyond Duke’s. An inspiring and exciting morning.
